The universes
by Leonardo Da Vinci

The new exhibition at the Leo Lev Exhibition Center.

From April 2, 2023, the exhibition The Universes of Leonardo da Vinci opens in Vinci at the Leo Lev Exhibition Center. The exhibition tells about Leonardo da Vinci's Achademia. We are accompanied to Leonardo's atelier in Milan and France according to the indications and various attributions of international scholars such as Carlo Pedretti. For the first time, faithful reproductions of paintings that are part of private collections and that are essential, to reconstruct, also through the entire preparatory apparatus of the drawings, the work and Leonardo's pictorial invention.

The exhibition represents the first event with which we want to bring back to the attention of the general public the importance of Leonardo's workshop where the new painting techniques were experimented and applied, which still constitute the most important legacy of the genius of Vinci.

In support of the main exhibition, the rooms of the Leo Lev Exhibition Center host the exhibition dedicated to the historic clothes of the Renaissance, which allow a quick comparison with the clothes worn by Leonardo's characters. The exhibition “History never goes out of style” is curated by the historical tailor Fabiana Frosini with the collection of images and works from which the historic clothes have been drawn.

The accompanying music for the exhibition The Universes of Leonardo da Vinci was written by the artist Mario Costanzi and recorded at the Mulino del Ronzone music production studio in Vinci.
