The Niccolini Theater Bookshop-Coffee presented NICCOLITUDINI – The presentations that do not bore (and do not last long) – “If He was a Leonardo’s Angel … The Archangel Gabriel of San Gennaro in Lucca area and his Restoration” By Ilaria Boncompagni, Oreste Ruggiero, Laura Speranza – Polistampa, 2019
The curators Ilaria Boncompagni, Oreste Ruggiero and Laura Speranza discussed – with the presence of the Publisher – the largest sculpture attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. The Announcing Angel kept in the Pieve di San Gennaro in Lucca, recently restored by the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence, is at the center of the exhibition “If it was a Leonardo’s Angel …”, running until February 2 at the new Leo Lev Exhibition Center, Piazza Pedretti 1 Vinci.
