17 November 2019

On Sunday 17 November 2019, third-year students of the Faculty of Architecture accompanied by their professors were welcomed at the Leo Lev Exhibition Center in Vinci.

The best University of Italy and one of the best in the world, has chosen an educational itinerary dedicated to the Announcing Angel. In fact, they went to the Leo-Lev Center to admire the largest sculpture in the world attributed to Leonardo da Vinci: the  Announcing Archangel  of San Gennaro in Lucca, a work of art  in polychrome terracotta restored by the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence. The artistic-educational path of the students, then, ended at the Pieve di San Gennaro in the Lucchesia: a church suddenly become famous for having kept the terracotta Angel for centuries.
